It’s tax time, and if you’re one of the lucky ones you’ll be receiving a refund. For many, it’s like winning the lottery and the winnings are being spent in their heads before the money’s in the bank. Some intentions are good, such as paying off a bill, but often, the money is spent without much thought and you end up feeling even more financially insecure than before you received it.

Jimmy Sabater wants “To be with you”

This week’s edition of Flashback Fridays is dedicated to the memory of Jimmy Sabater, who passed away this past Wednesday at the age of 75.

Jimmy Sabater was one the most admired vocalists in Latin music, having gained recognition as the lead vocalist for the Joe Cuba Sextet for over 20 years, known for crossing over various genres such as Salsa, Cha Cha Cha, R&B, and Boogaloo. He was also considerably talented as a Timbalero.
